Watercolor Artist's Palette Decoupage Glass Tray

A painter’s notebook, captured in glass. This vintage watercolor chart—thumb-smudged margins, tidy squares, whispered pigment names, recreates the quiet ritual artists used to record every hue in the studio. It feels like pulling a stool beside the easel and watching color come to life.

Handmade in our New York studio in the French tradition of decoupage, the artwork is reverse-applied to bent glass, layered and burnished so each swatch glows with depth while the surface stays perfectly smooth. Every tray is individually signed by Ben, a small signature of the hand that made it.

Charming yet practical: food-safe, wipe-clean, and felted on the reverse to protect your tables. Beautiful displayed upright on a gallery easel or hung with a plate hanger, and just as happy corralling brushes, jewelry, or the evening’s citrus and olives.

A folded card explaining the time-honored decoupage process accompanies each piece. For painters, color-seekers, and anyone who treasures the poetry of a well-loved palette, this is a studio’s heartbeat, preserved under glass.
