Four Seasons Mahjong Decoupage Glass Tray

A year told in symbols. Plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum, each tile a quiet marker of time’s passage, of resilience in winter and abundance in bloom. Birds in flight, circles in harmony, patterns repeating like memory. This tray captures the poetry of Mahjong not as a game alone, but as a language of nature, rhythm, and renewal.

Handcrafted in our New York studio in the French tradition of decoupage, the artwork is applied in reverse beneath glass, giving every detail a luminous depth and timeworn softness. The bent-glass silhouette offers structure and presence, while each piece is individually signed by Ben, a collectible designed to endure.

Food-safe with a felted backing, it transitions seamlessly from tabletop to display, serving tea and sweets, organizing a desk, or standing upright as a visual statement. Each tray arrives with a folded card detailing the centuries-old craft behind its making. A thoughtful gift for Mahjong enthusiasts, collectors, and those drawn to the quiet beauty of the seasons.
